Art, for me, is about the people involved. My life has felt like one big collaborative project for as long as I can remember. I’ve been playing in bands, making films and writing stories with friends for years. Music in particular has taught me the importance of involving others in my creative process. I’ve spent over eight years surrounded by people who create, experiment and share what they know. I’ve learnt almost everything I know by stealing knowledge from the people around me, just as they’ve stolen from me
My goal was never to be like a certain role model or become a certain kind of artist. I just wanted to create, to feel something, and to share it with other people.
